The sun blazed above. The rays gleaned off the yellow fur mixed with bubbles and water. The giant cheetah sat still in the open lot as her friends ran frantically around her. She could feel every little touch on her fur from their tiny hands. They scrubbed her all over, climbed to hard-to-reach places, and used a hose to rinse her off. Sheila’s growth spurt had caused some major problems for her life. Bathing was now almost impossible, and being so big she was exposed to the elements at all times. Fortunately, the drama club was willing to help their friend clean herself. They got all the cleaning equipment they needed and spent hours washing the big cat. Sheila purred in happiness, as she was grateful to have such good friends.
