Meeting Chun-Feet

After years of hard work, Roy had finally achieved the seemingly impossible. He had created a device that would allow him to enter other worlds, ones that were nearly identical to ones found in various games, books, and shows. Extremely excited, the inventor selected the destination by utilizing a cabinet of Street Fighter II. Wasting little time, he inputted the coordinates for the world and stepped through his portal, in his haste making two grave errors. The first was failing to narrow down his destination more specifically, and more catastrophically not setting any parameters for his body upon arrival.

As Roy blinked the dazzling lights from his eyes, he was briefly caught off guard by how bright everything was as he was bathed in fluorescent light, how strange the hard ground felt beneath himself, and the presence of a series of loud booming sounds nearby. Slowly, the inventor’s vision began to clear, but as it did he was left in shock by what he saw. Against all initial logic, he appeared to be in a massive locker room, its dimensions staggeringly and almost exaggeratedly large compared to him. As he tried to reconcile this situation, two things happened at once. The first was that he recalled his failure to set anything in the fields denoting his appearance in this world, and so chances were the program had defaulted him to the lowest value, or one pixel in size. The second was that the booming sounds were coming from behind him.

Nervously, the man turned around to behold a staggering sight, the gargantuan form of Chun-Li in her usual Street Fighter II blue and white Chinese dress and hair in buns, currently turned away from him and tapping the ground with her foot, causing the booming sounds. Roy then realized based on how he was at knee level to her that he was standing on top of the locker room bench. Then without warning the woman turned around to face him, and fearfully the inventor stumbled backwards, only to slip off the edge of the bench and fall into a dark tunnel.

The landing was thankfully a soft one, but the air here was slightly stale and off, somehow familiar and slightly bad. Roy looked around to see that the cave he was in extended a middling distance in one direction, and high up above the tunnel led to a circular opening. The bad smell, soft ground, and distinctive shape rapidly made his location clear, and the final confirmation he needed was the sight of Chun-Li standing over the mouth of the cave, and the ground having a very distinct wear pattern in it: a footprint.

Panicking, the inventor tried to jump and shout for the fighter’s attention, but his view of Chun-Li was rapidly taken up with the underside of her nylon clad foot as she slipped her knee-high boot on. Left with no other option, Roy turned in terror and sprinted down the boot interior, praying to reach some sort of sanctuary before he was bulldozed by the oncoming foot. As he felt the ground beneath him shudder as the woman’s toes impacted the insole and began to slide forward, he also saw he was only barely halfway there. With darkness falling deeper and deeper, and the air warming from the heat of the foot, Roy could only sob as he was nearly deafened by the cacophony of leather stretching and nylon rubbing on flesh and fabric. There was no escape.
