Daniel had been a huge fan of the One Piece franchise for many years. He had bought every volume of the manga and watched every single episode. To say that it was his favourite franchise was an understatement. To him, there was nothing in the world better than One Piece, and nothing in One Piece better than Aphelandra.
Although her role in the series was relatively minor, his favourite character was Aphelandra from the Island of Amazon Lily. He had always found her to be a cute and sweet character. He often tried to imagine what it would be like if this fictional character was real.
On one particular day, Daniel was re-reading a particular volume of One Piece where Aphelandra appeared. He couldn't help but give out a sigh. Muttering under his breath, he wished that she was real... not realizing that a shooting star was flying by outside in the night sky.
Moments later, his manga began to glow. The surprise of this development caused Daniel to drop the book onto the ground. He watched in absolute shock and surprise as a huge, glowing figure slowly rose from the manga's pages and into his room. The light soon became so bright that he had to shield his eyes. He could also hear a loud thud. Then came a crashing sound.
When the light subsided, Daniel was shocked to find that Aphelandra was sitting in his room and looking directly at him. A smile was on her face... but he was completely taken aback by just how tall she was. He remembered that out of the inhabitants of Amazon Lily, she was most likely the tallest, but seeing it in person was something else. Aphelandra was so tall that even while sitting down her head was close to the ceiling.
Although she greeted him kindly, Daniel knew that this was a giant problem. She was too tall to either stand up or exit the room. There were three solutions to the problem. These were that Aphelandra returned to her own world, she broke out of the room, or somehow she shrank to the point that she could fit through the door. Unfortunately for Daniel, it was the second of these three options that seemed to be the most likely!
