After Annie escaped from her prison she attempted to kill Eren as revenge for helping in her capture.
What Annie didn't know was that in the time since her capture, Mikasa had gained the ability to turn into a Titan as well. Mikasa just wanted to grab Annie and throw her away because with her new size she would finally be able to have her way with Eren.
While all this was happening Hange (with the result from her new titan experiments) turned into an even more massive giant ready to have fun with all of mankind.
