Ahri didn’t want to pretend that she was nice anymore. For years she lent her fighting power to the League in exchange for small souls and spells that at least tried to diminish her hunger for the life-energy of other beings... but it wouldn't be enough anymore. She wanted to finally satisfy her dark needs.
Finally, after a long search and a bit of luck, she got her hands on an old artifact. The amulet greatly enhanced her "soul siphon" ability to the point where her tiny body could no longer contain all of her magical energy. Thus, her body began to enlarge equal to the life force she absorbed. The more souls she takes, the more powerful her magic becomes.
Now the first victims on her way to ascension stand before her... and thus begins her first step into godhood.
