There seemed to be an unspoken rule, and it was a rule that Bob Parr knew... and at times... loathed. The old 'misunderstanding conflict' between two heroes (or groups of heroes in this case). It almost ALWAYS creates bad first impressions between two parties that have to eventually work together. Sadly, today was going to be one such day for him and his wife.
Responding to reports of strange creatures attacking in broad daylight, Helen and Bob Parr, from the Incredibles, jumped into action. What they did not know, until later, was that by the time they arrived... another group had stepped in. Apparently, this group were 'Specialists' when it came to creatures and monsters of various types and sizes. Unfortunately for this group... they were almost all different types of 'monsters' themselves. So... mistakes were quickly made.
Despite the best efforts of cooler heads to calm the situation down and deflate tensions... the large female (later identified as Susan Murphy, aka Ginormica) almost stepped on some civilians accidentally... enraging Helen immensely. To everyone's shock, Elasti-Girl used her powers to her absolute limit in an attempt to match Ginormica in height.
Thankfully, General Monger and Agent Dicker stepped in soon afterwards and stopped this from spiraling more out of control.
